Hey there! I’m Joseph Schultz, born and raised in the Bay Area, Northern California. In 2024, I decided to get serious about my health and wellness, and somewhere along the way, I became a full-on running addict. While pounding the pavement, I discovered that lozenges kept that dreaded cottonmouth at bay. Plus, the menthol cleared my sinuses, making it easier to breathe properly; in through the nose, out through the mouth.

One day, mid-run, I had a thought: What if there was a lozenge that also had electrolytes to replenish hydration? Maybe even a little caffeine for that extra boost? After searching and coming up empty, I realized—wait a minute... I could make this! And just like that, LozEngines was born.
